By the end of Brand Signature Lab, you’ll have:

  • A Brand Essence Trio – three precise words that name the core of your brand.

  • A Feel Trio – three emotional cues that describe how your brand should feel to others.

  • A clear one-line positioning statement and audience focus you can use in copy and pitches.

  • A tone-of-voice mini sheet (do/don’t cues for language and communication).

  • A one-page Visual Signature Sheet — your brand’s visual “north star,” including:

    • a Micro-Mood Grid

    • a 5-color Palette Brand Palette

    • Typeface Pointer (one serif + one sans pairing)

    • Material & Imagery tags (texture + photography tone)

  • A 60-day action plan for what to update first in Q1 (and what to stop fussing with).

In other words: you’ll leave with both language and visuals—and a document any designer (including future-you) can actually use.

Why this lab is different

Most brand workshops either stay abstract (“find your why”) or jump straight to the surface (“pick a palette”).

Brand Signature Lab is different because it’s built on:

    We draw on primal instinctual drivers and archetypal patterns to help you see the real drives under your brand—not just what sounds good on paper.

    Our recent study at the University of Oklahoma found a strong, statistically significant link between instinctive drives and aesthetic preferences. Translation: the way you and your audience move through the world predicts the visuals you’ll actually trust.

    We don’t hand you a generic template. We guide you toward a specific visual language that fits your brand: sensual vs. communal vs. magnetic, light vs. deep, muted vs. high-contrast.

All sessions are live on Zoom with replays available. You’ll get a PDF workbook + a Canva template for your Visual Signature Sheet.

Session 1 — Brand Core & Essence

January 6 • 11:0am–2:00pm CST

We start with psychology and clarity.

  • Map your offer, audience, and deeper motivation.

  • Sort your Brand Essence Trio (3 core words) from a structured adjective exercise.

  • Identify your Feel Trio (3 emotional cues) that define how your brand should land in the body.

  • Draft a one-line positioning statement and audience focus that doesn’t sound like everyone else.

You’ll leave Session 1 with your strategic core on paper—not just in your head.


Session 2 — Instinct, Aesthetics & Visual Language

January 7 • 11:0am–2:00pm CST

We bridge the inner work into outer form.

  • Learn how instinctual drives map to different aesthetic families (sensual, communal, magnetic) and seasonal qualities (light, deep, clear, muted).

  • See live examples of brands translated from Essence/Feel → visual worlds.

  • Choose your aesthetic lane and “temperature” with our guidance.

  • Begin curating loose visual references that match your brand’s psychological pattern—not just your personal Pinterest taste.

You’ll leave Session 2 knowing what kind of visual world your brand truly belongs to.


Session 3 — Visual Signature Build & Critique

January 8 • 11:0am–2:00pm CST

We turn all of that into a one-page, designer-ready direction.

  • Use our guided Canva template to build your Visual Signature Sheet:

    • fill your Micro-Mood Grid (9 tiles) from curated assets + your own references

    • choose your 5-color Palette Lane

    • pick a Type Pointer (serif + sans pairing from our matrix)

    • select Material & Imagery tags and Layout geometry

  • Receive live feedback in small breakout groups and from us.

  • Write 3 rationale bullets that tie your visual choices back to your Essence/Feel.

  • Outline a 60-day action plan for Q1.


You’ll leave Session 3 with a coherent, shareable Brand Signature document you can hand to us, another designer, a web developer, or a photographer—or use yourself — as a clear compass.

ABOUT ZYKR

Zykr is co-founded by Sterlin Mosley, PhD (communication scholar, creative director and Enneagram teacher) and Aaron Addonizio, MHR (design strategist and Enneagram teacher). Together, we blend:

  • 40+ years of combined research and knowledge of deep personality and human personality

We also run Empathy Architects, our teaching and consulting arm focused on Enneagram typology and communication. Zykr is where we translate that psychological clarity into coherent, beautiful brand worlds.

Brand Signature Lab is our live, small-cohort way of letting you into that process.

FAQ

Do I need to know psychology or my instinctual drives?

No. We’ll give you simple, accessible explanations and use them as lenses—not dogma. Everything is translated into clear language and visuals. But we will send our survey, which will give you an idea of your instinctual drives and aesthetic preferences.

Do I need design experience or software skills?

No design experience required. If you can drag-and-drop in Canva and copy/paste links, you’re good. This is about direction and coherence, not technical perfection.

Will I get a complete visual identity (logo, website, etc.)?

Not in this lab. You’ll get a strategy core and a one-page Visual Signature that makes future design far smoother, less expensive, and more powerful. We’ll share how to work with us (or another designer) afterward if you want to go further. Or you can continue creating your own resonant brand design.

What if I can’t attend live?

Live attendance is recommended for feedback, but all sessions are recorded. You’ll have access to the replays for a limited time.

Can my business partner or teammate join?

Yes. We would recommend that you attend together if you share a brand. You can either purchase the dual seat option or email us about a team rate.

What’s your refund policy?

You can request a refund up to December 29th. After that, tickets are transferable to another person or may be credited to a future Zykr offering or design package.
